Pragmatism is now framed as hate. Interesting. Literally everyone here wants to see success from this franchise. Having a RB as likeable as JC perform at a high level would go aways to helping that. Reality is, he's 31 and on the downside, and has appeared to be cooked. That doesnt make me a hater, it makes me someone who is in wait and see mode with a valid justification for questioning whether or not he can return to form.
I never pointed anyone out but there are several posts talking about how Connor is over the hill, cut-him, etc.. He was very effective in 2024. In 2025, the OL sucked nutgrass all season so in the first few games before his injury, he could see any holes.

All I'm saying is lets wait until we see what he has before we send him out to the pasture. I picked up a sport in my 60's and I've gotten better every year. So it's possible.

I know it's fun to talk about and all that. But TC and pre-season games are pretty much meaningless when it comes to the regular season.

The Cards and every other team knows their starting lineup already.

TC and pre season games are good for the young guys and see who can play and who can't

Hey, a lot of us picked up that sport again in our 60's with the little blue pill. Glad to hear you're getting better at it...respect!!
And nutgrass? This may fall into D-Doggs territory with his expertise with the nether region.....LOL

LaFleur said today that Benson had a "little flare up in his left knee."

Hate to say it but he's done in Arizona they're going to try and trade him but if he's not 100% nobody is going to trade for him.

Such a weird thing unless it relates to his original surgery from when he was at Oregon in college, they clearly didn't diagnose his injury last year correctly because there's no way that injury should still be bothering him in August of 2026.

I can't wait for the first time in a real game where J Love gets out the gate and pops one.

He might even do it in the preseason, which doesn't count of course. I think he pops his cherry in week 3. Calling it now.

Conner didn't have to agree to restructure his contract and play for less. He must've thought that was a better option than what he could've got on the open market had he been cut.

That's right. They could have released him without asking his opinion.
