If Barkley is a generational player then Giannis, KD and KG are as well. I’d throw Kobe in there because he was a young phenom.
Like I said, I won't argue it, I just see it differently. As for Kobe, that year or two where he focused on being a great defender was certainly worthy of the generational label but like KD, he's not a great team player and although undeniably elite, he's not as impactful as his stats suggest either (IMO). And I could easily be talked out of the Barkley nod, it's a tough call for so many of them.

The Pacers should go back to their 90’s Market Square Arena court/jerseys and let us float on the nostalgia of those wild Knicks Pacers series from yesteryear.

Looking forward to that matchup. Boston was very good to great for years, but so boring. Same with the LeBrons before that.

Knicks Pacers is both new blood and old rivalry. Nice combo.

And if the other end is Shai v. Ant-Man, that’s a nice rivalry to get started with arguably the best two guards in the game fighting for supremacy.

aside from jordan i try to avoid the who was better discussions - mostly because because none of them had the same cast or situation which are just as important

for me it's more than who can score - it's who knows how to win

I’m here to eat my crow. I thought the Knicks Celtics series was over after halftime of game 1. I didn’t think that the knicks would a game, much less the series. Oh well. Nom Nom Nom

Kind of like the quote from the movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off:

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

I thought Boston would roll through the Knicks and we'd have an OKC vs Boston finals. I'm excited about the Knicks potentially getting there. The Knicks and OKC have been my league pass teams this year. Watched probably 20 games for each.

The Pacer's are no joke and might make it but I don't see them as having a realistic shot at beating the Western team.

So far, so good. The only team left that I truly dislike is Denver. I didn't used to dislike them, but they've become so obnoxious in the rivalry with the Suns the last few years, I can no longer stand them. So come on, OKC.

Rivalry? I doubt they view us as rivals

We did wipe them out one time, no? Remember the Suns in four guy?

I remember Booker standing up to Jokic in that series, the Suns winning 64 games the next season and then Mat Ishbia blows up the team the following season for Durant.

Aaron Gordon will need several weeks to recover from a reported Grade 2 hamstring strain.
