It honestly will be fascinating to watch (up close) how this group of players/coaches/FO person reacts to reaching the top of the mountain.

The last time there was a Game 7 in the NBA Finals, more than 31 million people tuned in to watch. Only about 16.4 million watched on Sunday.

Great game, regardless of how many watched. This whole postseason was one of the best I can recall from beginning to end. Each round contained top tier drama and fantastic basketball.

The league needs to commit to marketing this younger crop of stars more though. Shai, JDub, Hali, Brunson, Ant, etc. The personalities are there but unless you're a diehard BB fan, they appear generic in nature.

i think the other issue they have with those guys is that outside of Ant, there's very little flash to their games. Shai is a phenomenal scorer, but he's a midrange killer, not a high-flier or 3 point bomber. Hali is great and pulls the flair out at times, but it's not like he's Magic Johnson doing it all the time. Brunson is low to the ground, same with JDub. They all also need a little more time and winning to make them the perennial stars people come to identify with the league.

This was a total changing of the guard post-season so I suspect it will take a little time for people to get to know these guys.
