Personally, I wish the draft still started on Saturday morning. Used to look forward to that a lot more than a Thursday night during a work week. Bleh.

My only gripe about it being on Thursday it that the teams only make one pick. I wish that teams would be allowed to make two picks tonight. Good luck tonight!

I enjoy finding out about the picks in real time via the twits and CBS Draft Tracker, but to avoid ruining it for those who prefer to wait until after the commercials and talking heads on ESPN or NFL Network have their say, i suggest that any picks posted here before they're called on TV should be protected by spoiler tags:

Just as a side note, for the East (Normal haha j/k) Coasters on the board, these times are Pacific. The draft starts 8pm EST tonight.

Heard Keim this morning on Doug & Wolf. Just LOVE the guy... He said not only do they have the 8 draft picks, but they plan on signing roughly 11 free agents as well... Just love the aggressive style from BASK, and Michael as well!

What ammunition will Bears give up in a trade with Titans? For starters, one team source said, “Cutler.” …I’m also told that's not enough.
lol nobody wants Cutler.

Excellent national anthem. None of that hip hop, R&B crap. Well done. I guess NHL games and the NFL draft are the only places who can get good singers for national anthems :D

Any chance we hear of a Cardinals trade before #24? Kind of twitchy. :)

If we don't get a RB at 24 (which I don't really want anyway), would you be willing to part with this year's 2nd rounder for Peterson? What about next year's #1? I imagine it would require a contract renegotiation too--a hasty one. Would any posters be willing to do the trade along with that hefty contract? Thoughts?
