(WSPA) – The East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) announced they have reached a tentative deal with the Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) amid an ongoing players strike.

The ECHL said they have reached a deal on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The agreement is still subject to approval by the ECHL Board of Governors and the PHPA.

Players are expected to report to their teams and prepare to return to play.
