Tennessee's men's golf team announced Rudy Sautron has joined the Vols' program from the NCAA transfer portal.

Sautron signed with Tennessee on Friday. He will join the Vols as a senior after playing the last two seasons at Nebraska. A native of Reunion Island in France, Sautron played his freshman year at Cameron University, a NCAA Division II school in Lawton, Oklahoma.

In his junior season with the Cornhuskers, he matched a school record by winning three tournaments, claiming low medalist honors at the Git-R-Done Invitational, the Hal Williams Collegiate and the Johnnie-O at Sea Island. The transfer also earned an individual bid to the NCAA Marana Regional, where he finished 25th.

He was an All-Big Ten First-Team selectin and a 2026 PING All-Midwest Region standout. Sautron was also a GCAA Scholar All-American in 2025.

"We are excited to add an elite talent like Rudy to our program," Tennessee head coach Brennan Webb said. "For a proven winner like him to see the value of what our program can provide speaks volumes to what opportunities are here for aspiring golfers.

"His maturity and determination to be the best will be incredible assets to our program. I love how determined he is to help us achieve our ultimate goal of winning a national championship. The first thing he said when he called to let me know he was choosing Tennessee was, 'Are you ready to go win a natty?'"
