Kansas transfer libero Raegan Burns signed with Tennessee volleyball on Wednesday. The 5-foot-5 libero and defensive specialist appeared in 218 sets, including 61 matches, from 2023-25 at Kansas.

Tennessee head coach Eve Rackham Watt discussed Burns signing with the Lady Vols.

“We are thrilled to welcome Raegan Burns to our Lady Vol volleyball program,” Rackham Watt said. “She is a player with tremendous experience at a very high level and has won a lot of matches in her career.

“We believe she is an elite serve receiver with great defensive instincts. Our staff is excited to have her join us this summer and believe she will continue to develop in our program."

In three seasons with the Jayhawks, Burns recorded 756 digs, 246 assists and 31 aces.

She is from McCutcheon High School in Lafayette, Indiana. Burns help lead McCutcheon to four conference championships, two regional titles, one semi-state championship and one state title.
