Probably so, but is somebody actually gonna claim him to the active roster if cut? We all know he's at least headed to the PS squad.

I would think someone would. I wouldn't want to take that chance and loose him to another team.

We agree. I think he would get picked up by another team if he did not make the 53 man roster.

He has been dropped/released by like 3 or 4 teams the last couple of years. Seems he has improved or the teams didn't know what they had in him.

With Cleveland and Philly they were using him as a WR.

Did not know that.

I looked up pics of him and he seems to have filled out a lot. Interesting story for sure.

Yeah I believe he was around 220 when he was trying to make it at WR. Now he is approaching 260 at TE.

hope he makes the team....my ol'lady is a fan.... she was hootin' for him when he drug those guys last night.....

I got a good laugh when he paused to adjust his helmet before continuing the run on that big play,lol... he was so lucky both safeties had already hit him.

I wish he'd have gotten a decent block by the Cardinal trailing after him. He could have scored on that play.

That's the guy I want playing on my team. Pull the helmet back in place and keep on going.

I liked him before last night, now I'm ready to start him. Loved his play last night. Reminded me of Larry Centers. Centers had so much heart and would always give his all.

No hand wringing needed he will make the final 53 with Gresham and Niklas out.

Even if Gresham is ready for week 1, he hasn't done much as of yet.

That sequence of the 3 plays he made last night (don't forget the nice block he made downfield to allow Shipley to get the 3rd first down sandwiched in-between the two catches) was about as impressive as any 3 plays in preseason I can remember.

This kid has It. Hands, strength to spare, blocking will keep getting better and a hard worker every down. He should be fighting for the starting TE.
