I have no problem if players want to go there as long as there are no illegal concessions or promises from the team or agents involved. And to be clear, I think most of the decisions to go there are on the up and up.

I suspect one or maybe even both of the rookies might already be regretting the decision though as the Lakers guard cupboard is no longer as empty as it was when they opted to commit to the Lakers instead of being drafted.

Well yes. The Lakers now have Monk, Nunn and Horton-Tucker.

Agreed but I suspect that's what he's been instructed to do.
Well if that is what they are instructing him to do in summer league they should be fired. He needs work on the interior, taking corner 3's can be done in practice all year long.

They are working him at the 4, and that is what the 4 does in the Suns offense. With Ayton at the 5 we like to spread the other four players out. If Smith doesn’t work out at the 4 then they may transition him to the 5, but right now the backup 4 is our biggest need, so that is where they are going to work him in the summer league.

The Suns starting lineup remains the same. I was hoping they would go with Zachary Hankins at center.

When is this game supposed to start. I'm showing 10PM ET, but it's nearly 10:30PM.

Suns need to figure out a way to get Stix involved. This is not working.

I wish they would do interviews at halftime or before the game.

What's the point of Monte McCutcheon wearing a mask for the camera when no one is around him?

Summer Suns need someone who can pass.

Its funny how the cyclical the PG is in the NBA. Every other generation it changes. Pass first, score first, pass first, score... Etc.

The top PG's now are scorers for the most part but I see that changing with a new breed of PG like Luka, Ben Simmons, Trae Young, even Shai. We're seeing more willing passers take over and that's who kids will see in their formative years.

I need an alert to let me know when Stix enters the game. Can't watch when he's not out there.

Stix is 1-9 shooting. Brutal. He does have 8 rebounds.

Thankfully Halftime.

Jazz lead 36-27.

No one is talking about Davion Mitchell from Sac. He looked real good to me in his Summer League game I caught. Can't wait to see him play us.

The Kings drafted Mitchell 9th and they are loaded at point guard.

Yeah. I'm just not seeing it with Stix. I'm concerned. He should stand out from this crowd and he's not. Passing on Haliburton was officially a mistake.
