The Suns record improves to 27-20 with a win over the Heat.

Now they travel to Brooklyn to play the Nets.

The Nets are 19-27 after beating the Jazz at home tonight.

Thankfully, only three more games left on the road trip.

Two losses back from the 5th place Kings. We are still the hottest team over the last 10 games at 8-2.

Feels good to be out of spots 9-12 though. What is going to suck is the Lakers getting the play-in spot and probably beat the Wolves in round 1. The warriors actually look worse than the Lakers and I see the Jazz and Rockets tank to stay within the lottery.

The injury report looks better than I expected, with both Allen and Bol Bol listed as questionable.

All in all, signing Durant worked out pretty well for them.

Acquiring him cost them basically nothing, they got somewhat better while he was there, trading him away landed them a massive amount of assets.

However... he also accomplished nothing, missed the majority of the games he was on the roster, got 2 coaches axed and bailed as soon as things got difficult.

If I was a Nets fan, I'd boo. No question.

100%. He seems to be on the floor much more often than many players, but I think it’s for this reason - injury avoidance.

This Nets game falls into the category of type of teams Suns struggle with. Tall athletic wings, awesome offensive rebounding. Nets are playing well of late. If they are also hitting 3s, it could get ugly. We need to hit shots and play a ton of Okogie And our bigs have to step up. And for the love of God, get your 4th quarter figured out.

Counting on Bradley Beal in this one -- when we lost by 4 to Brooklyn, it was only Beal's 2nd game back after he sat out for that extended period.

His pace as the ballhandler has been working really well for us. When we use it, that is.

Yup, I felt this way last year too (again, assuming he could get healthy). His deficiencies in shooting would be well covered with KD, Beal, Book, and his defense could help save legs for someone like KD.

As noted above, he is confident he will return against the Nets.
