Everyone talking Canaan release and we need a PG, etc, etc. However, ball movement isn't the Suns problem. Would a legit starting PG be nice? Of course. What we need more than anything is a defensive, rebounding PF.

Ayton = not a defensive big....yet.
Holmes = great back up big.
Bender = Useless
Ariza = too small and not a rebounder
Anderson = No defense/rebounding

We are getting our asses kicked in rebounding, especially offensive boards. Horrendous!!!

They need someone doing the dirty work to go along with Holmes.

Harrell was a revelation to what they need more of and have less divas needing the ball.

Unfortunately the Suns decided to spend all their free agent money on Ariza.

Harrell was out there. The Suns need his type toughness along with Holmes.

So much for having a ton of wings. They need some beef as well.

It's unforgivable the Suns did not address the need for a starting point guard two seasons in a row.

They tried going the Houston Rockets approach last year of having tons of interchangeable wings but it worked for Houston because they had an anchor on defense and their wings generally made shots.

And it didn't hurt to have Chris Paul either.

And they had one of the top 3 point guards in the NBA.

He is just a rookie, but Ayton’s defense is a bit disappointing.

Better change the title of the thread to "Let me blow some steam". Personally I wish you all left the web sight.

1. Starting PG-Okobo looked good last night he can play off the bench
2. Starting PF -Defense and rebounding to play alongside Ayton
3. Experienced GM
4. Stability with starters and the coach

I'm mainly just having fun with how bad they've been. In reality, I think the Suns are still better positioned for longterm success than most teams in the league. Everything else should work out great if they get the following three things:

1. Consistent development from Ayton. He's got all the talent in the world, but there are some red flags. We need this to go the right way.
2. A good point guard who can provide leadership and has the skills on the floor to back it up. I'd be happy with Dinwiddie, Rubio, or Brogdon. Collison and McConnell would be marginal improvements I could live with.
3. A power forward who pairs well with Ayton. Ideally, he'd be a high energy guy who can protect the rim but also space the floor at a reasonable level. Those guys are hard to find, but I heard Duke has a guy.

Dinwiddie
Booker
Warren
Zion
Ayton

Okobo
Jackson
Bridges
Holmes

That's my somewhat realistic hope. (Obviously, I'd love to have Kemba or Durant or Kyrie...but that's highly unlikely. Zion is at least a realistic hope given our record.)

That's in that "Bunch of Other Stuff" category along with effort on defense, team chemistry, and the ability to play in the second half.

Every other item you list in this post comes down to one thing: Coaching.

I can't think of a better way to sum up the Suns' season than this monstrosity:
