Suns wrap up the last game of their road trip against the Heat on Monday.

The Heat (26-32) have lost their last two games with their last lost coming at home against the Pistons on Saturday 119-96.

The Suns (11-50) lost to the Hawks 120-112 on Saturday extending their losing streak to 17 games.

For what it is worth, I thought the Suns played much better against the Hawks. I think Tyler Johnson was an upgrade at the point guard position complimenting Booker.

TJ Warren will miss his 13th game with a reported sore ankle.

I tried arguing that TJ is more important going forward than Oubre given our need of outside shooting but he can’t be relied on anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s expressed to Jones that he wants out this summer.

As much as I like TJ and I am so glad he added that jumper this year, but he is the player I would most likely deal to improve the team. TJ for a quality pf would be the thing.

He’s played 1 good game and like 5 of the worst games I’ve ever seen from a point guard. I wouldn’t call him an upgrade

I'd be more worried about him if he'd had one good game followed by 5 really bad ones. This way there's at least the hope that he's turned the corner. He's not likely to have that kind of an offensive outburst very often but I think he's a clear upgrade if his real game falls about halfway between his 1 good game and his 5 bad ones.

I mean seriously is this how you evaluate all 5 year veterans, you watch them play 4 or 5 games and then claim that is who they are?

They have this thing called career statistics - and I will give you a hint - they do a very good job of telling you how good a player is.

He is 100% a better player than he was in his first few games with us, and he is 100% not as good as he played in his last game. It really is not that tough to know whether a player is performing at their normal standard when you have years of stats to review, which in Johnson's case are actually very close year to year.

It took some time for Johnson to adjust to the Suns roster but the proof is in the pudding going forward.
We will find out soon enough.

Almost anyone would be an upgrade at what the Suns had at point guard.

Seems obvious he’s done for the season.

It's hard to say.

If the Suns want to trade him in the off season they might want to get him on the court before the season is over to show he is healthy.

I just read that Gambo is saying that Igor might get fired if the Suns lose tonight.

lol... if true, 18 losses in a row is that much worse than 17? If they're really thinking of firing him, do it at the end of the year after bringing a new GM in. At least they can pretend to try and save face with this disaster by saying the new GM wants his own guy.
