"Cheap shots and drama...part 2"

Boston Celtics (43-15) returning home for the first time in almost two weeks, they are 2-0 with their new additions of Green and Krstic, they've won 5 of their last 6 with after beating the Jazz in a close one on Monday.

Suns have won 11 of their last 14, we have gone 3-0 on this roadtrip, bench play has really been picking it up, and the 4th quarter meltdowns mixed with unnecessary yet exciting OT victories has been entertaining to say the least.

This game will be all about defense, I doubt either team will score a 100 points and that's when our bench comes into play, please...let them play earlier! Carter looks good on the pine when his shot is off. More Studley and Warrick pretty please.

Game is not on ESPN or TNT.

As always, if it gets crazy in there, put in Gortat!

This will be a very tough game to win. I am not optimistic. It should be enjoyable to watch though. The new look Celtics are still adjusting some. Be prepared to be angry. Getting any kind of decent calls in the Garden is nearly impossible.

I agree. In the Garden, unless you bring your cell phone you're not likely to get any calls at all.

Not that this is related, but this brings back memories when Antonio McDyess never received his phone calls from Suns players sent to Denver to try and recruit him back to Phoenix when there was a lockout in 1999. McNichols Arena security also prevented Suns players sent there to recruit him from entering the building. I still dislike the Nuggets for this maneuver.

Well, I'm sorry my little joke brought back THAT memory. I also remember it well but long ago decided the real villain was John Lucas. I still hate him to this day for that plus his failure to straighten out Dumas when he got involved with him. I'm probably being a bit unfair on that point but, in an effort to be reasonable, I've decided he might not be responsible for global warming.

I don't know how much of a test it will be. Boston is at home and Boston is the better team. If they look past us we could maybe steal one as we've matched up with them fairly well in the past. It's doubtful though as we beat them fairly easily at home not too long ago. I can't see them overlooking us twice but who knows.

you never know. they are a good home team and I don't think they overlook teams. They play hard every time I watch them. a win, surprising or not, would be impressive. they don't lose often there, but they did to dallas :).

I remember that night so well. I was laying patio bricks in my back yard and had the radio on, listening blow by blow.
