This is definitely the hope. If Maluach could anchor the Suns interior defense for the next 10 years or so, I'd be pleased.

Shows how old you are thinking of the Chief. ;)

I think of like a Marcus Camby type would be solid. Even prime Tyson Chandler. Tyson is a weird one since he had good numbers here but that's it, he wasn't effective as he was elsewhere. He was stat padding on a losing team without any other options. He was a force for the Mavericks and good in NY. Camby was a legit anchor for Denver though and had a really good career on winning teams.

I have already been high and low on Kahman before he has played a single regular season game. I think he needs at least a half season to adjust to his body and the speed and toughness of the NBA. We won't probably see much of him from the start, is my guess.

Still more than 30 days until the first game.

As I got older I realized Parrish was really one of the top tier guys as well. He just wasn’t flashy, and he deferred to two great players in bird and McHale. I think had he been a centerpiece of a team he would’ve been thought of in the top tier of his time.

Ishbia has many faults, but he's not going to trade Devin Booker for Tobias Harris and Duncan Robinson. That is idiotic, even for a national analyst.

Hard to argue with it... ranking us as merely having the 22nd worst cap situation is rather kind of them.

And I'd also agree with the Kings and Pelicans are the only two teams with obviously worse front offices. At least the horrible moves we pulled have some semblance of logic behind them, while the Kings and Pelicans make one bonkers move after another.

I keep hoping the Suns can pull a rabbit out of a hat, even if it seems hopeless. Guess that's what fans do.
