We're 9-6 and the "fluke" game in that stretch is one we pissed away a lead, minus 2 starters.

I completely agree.

Even though this team lacks enough talent to truly complete, the amount of buy in and performance we are getting out of the talent we have is VERY impressive.

11 of the next 12 games are against current top 8 teams in the west. This is a bit of a make or break stretch of our schedule. We come out of this still above .500 and we could well have a team that wins close to 50 games.

I dunno how many of you are aware, but OKC has both, the Jazz and the Clippers first round picks.

The Jazz pick has some protection on it, currently it conveys but I little doubt that Ainge will ensure they tank the hell out of the 2nd half to make sure they keep it. However, the Clippers pick has zero protection and that team is flying off the rails, a real good chance that OKC gets a top 5 pick.

I suppose, one bright spot about our plight is that OKC is probably going to one of the all time dynasties and even if we hadn't completely self sabotaged the last few years, we'd still have no real hope at a title.

Oh, they also have Philly and Houston's firsts this year. So, even if they don't get the top pick, they could make a godfather offer for it and get it anyway.
