Suns are my Kryptonite!
So far, the most surprising thing of this season is the ability to score by Dillon Brooks. Even when we played his teams in the past, I was never struck by his ability to score. A lot of the commentators in our games, have said he has taken his game to a new level. This has been the biggest surprise so far, imho.
Kind of odd to think we almost acquired him back in 2018 when we dealt Ariza. Who knows what sort of player he'd be today. I wonder if that plays a role in how or why he's stepped up here.

I think he was probably upping his game anyway, to help Houston in the playoffs, when the trade occurred with us. We are probably the lucky recipients of that scenario.
Brooks has talked about how the Grizz didn't want him and that fueled him to become better.
