North County 13, Northborough 5: J.J. Walker was 3 for 4 with a homer, three RBIs and three runs as visiting Post 193 (11-6) topped Post 234 (1-16).
Teammate Brodhi Byars went 3 for 4 with an RBI and three runs, Adam Adams went 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs, and Andrew Beauregard had one hit, three RBIs and a run.
Sebastian Debonet drove in three runs and scored a run to lead Northborough.
Shrewsbury 6, Northbridge 5; Northbridge 5, Shrewsbury 3: Cam Kelly was walked in with two outs and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth to lift host Post 397 (12-5) in the first game of a doubleheader split at Fitton Field.
Shrewsbury put up four runs in the first inning to take a 4-1 lead, as Connor Mudd was walked in, Owen Mongeon scored on a sacrifice fly, and Kelly and Tommy Kursonis both scored on an error.
Post 343 (10-8) slowly rallied, tying the game in the fifth when Alex Vosburgh singled in Jake Costello.
Northbridge scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth and two more in the sixth to win the nightcap.
Vosburgh smacked a two-run single in the fourth, driving in Costello and Cody Veneziano, and Jack Marino crossed when Matt Coughlin was hit by a pitch. Jake Maturo added a two-run single in the sixth.
Mudd and Bryan Herlihy each singled and scored for Shrewsbury.
