Definitely curious if they're going to touch on how old the HS kids are or if they're going to just pretend they're not all in their 20's. The younger sister Erica she's I think 18 now in real life.

That's the one problem with these shows if they don't account for the time between seasons it just gets silly.

But the trailer looks great

These kids be definitely too old to plausibly be playing high school kids at this point.

And no, they don’t, Russ.

Yeah, ya see...when Vecna opened the portal to allow his world to flow over into our world it was actually an interdimensional rift. Everyone knows of course that time flows differently from one dimension to the next. But in this particular case...since the rift became large enough to merge separate and distinct worlds...space/time got confused and a bit wonky as certain geographical locations were existing in both dimensions simultaneously...thus causing time "pockets".. small areas where time flowed differently than even a position just a few feet away.

Unbeknownst to the heroes of our story ..their favorite hangout existed in one such time pocket causing them to age at an accelerated rate.

I guess I don’t mind setup episodes. Good usage of all the characters and definitely a bunch of storylines developing.

So far so good. Started slow but you can definitely feel the tension rising.

Reason it started slow was to build the shows up my friends.
It did at that.

Biggest takeaway from the 4 episodes:

Freaking Will now has the best character arc in the whole show. All the angst and being barely noticeable in season 3 and 4 has all come to a head, and it was a fantastic way to advance his character. Coming to terms with who he is was just a great way to end that 4th episode.

Also appreciated them bring Max back sooner than I thought they would.

I liked the first 4 episodes but they weren't S1 or S4 level of good. Main complaint is that I thought they could have tightened it up a bit and that they were padding the run time being repetitive a bit or dragged a few things out too long. I feel like a lot of shows/movies are doing this for like the last 5 or 6 years and could use tighter editing.

Bass was really good though in E4. Last half of the episode was non-stop in a great way.

Almost through episode 1. Other than the shock when Lucas spoke and had such a deep voice the age of the kids hasn't bugged me yet.

I like it so far

Watching Mike ride his bike was a little ridiculous. Other than that, I didn't have to much of a problem with them.

2 episodes in and I like it.

I was surprised it's been so long and I didn't do any catchup on old episodes but I haven't needed to. I did binge watch teh whole series originally I started it years after it started so that probably helped me retain.

So far so good

2.5 episodes in and this show might have just taken too long to come back for me to care as much as I did. I loved season 1, was eh on 2, really really loved Season 3 and Season 4 had some really peak moments, but this season just ain't hitting for me through three hours. feels like ALL set-up, not enough punch.

Just watch episode 4 and come back with your analysis. ;)
