Strange indeedTheaters are selling out of tickets, They just went on sale yesterday here in Fort Worth.

Just watch episode 4 and come back with your analysis.![]()
Good thing Ft Worth never crosses my mind.....Yes. At least in Fort Worth.
When they are trying to do big, dramatic conversations in ep 6 and 7, they drag out waaaaaaaaay too long. There’s too much of Holly, ******* Darryl (or whatever his name is) and Vecna’s world which just ain’t hitting for me at all every time they go there.
I’m bumping more on Maya Hawke suddenly having a great plan every time the moment calls for it, pulling it seemingly out of thin air. I dug the intro of her character a lot in Season 3 and 4 and her relationship with Steve, but she ain’t hitting for me this year. When they are trying to do big, dramatic conversations in ep 6 and 7, they drag out waaaaaaaaay too long.
Damn, I didn't know that. I hate that. Good call on Maya Hawke. I'll give them that they have her doing well advising will on his sexuality.I’m bumping more on Maya Hawke suddenly having a great plan every time the moment calls for it, pulling it seemingly out of thin air. They’re also doing the REALLY annoying thing with dialogue that is increasing on so many Netflix shows (and is happening on purpose per notes from the streamer) which is repeatedly restating the obvious so people having second screen experiences can catch up if they were looking at the phones earlier.
Yeah… that’s her saving grace this season.Damn, I didn't know that. I hate that. Good call on Maya Hawke. I'll give them that they have her doing well advising will on his sexuality.
They've been really bad with this this season. They're not just repeating things once which is bad enough but they're doing it 3 or 4 times minimum on everything. I really wish Netflix would get rid of this directive. It's hurting their shows. This type of thing must drive you nuts as a writer too.I’m bumping more on Maya Hawke suddenly having a great plan every time the moment calls for it, pulling it seemingly out of thin air. It's not that dialogue is useless it's that repeating the same dialog multiple times is useless. It's that repeating the same dialog multiple times is useless. It's that repeating the same dialog multiple times is useless. It's that repeating the same dialog multiple times is useless. Every one of these episodes could have been tightened up by 10-15 minutes.y'all are trippin.
every episode this season has been great.
useless dialogue....
I forget sometimes most of you only read picture books.
something I did find funny though.....after one such monologue they "Hung a lantern on it"...I think thats the phrase....they took a moment to point out they were aware they were talking a lot. kinda made me snicker just a bit.
one of my D&D buddies complained because they retconned some things from earlier in the series.... I'm like..."dude...do you even D&D??" it makes the show fit even more snuggly into the culture...retcons happen in D&D all the damned time,...nearly every session for our group...the fact that the show runners did it with the show is hilarious and quite brilliant.
and its not "a heavy dialogue episode"...it is in fact, " a heavy RP session"
its not always about the combat fellas!
