According to long snapper Christian Kuntz, T.J. has a secret obsession: he is one of the podcast's most dedicated and predatory subscribers. Kuntz may be used to frustrated fans using the podcast to troll him, but he didn't expect it from a teammate.
"He knows you have a podcast. I'm sure he watches it all the time, dude," Derek told Kuntz. "He watches it all the time. I think he's got alerts sent for every time the new one comes out, he, he gets it and watches it immediately."
T.J.’s loyalty isn't just about supporting a teammate. Instead, he uses the content as prime locker room ammunition to relentlessly make jokes at Kuntz's expense.
"You know what he does that's actually hilarious, he'll walk by me and he'll mess with me cuz he'll see a clip or two obviously... and he'll make a comment about listening to the podcast," Kuntz shared, laughing. "And like, it'll, it'll, it'll throw me off for a second. I'll be like, 'Dude, shut up.' Like it was a clip like you said. He's like, 'No, I swear to God, I saw it. I saw it. I saw it.'"
Growing up in the middle of J.J. and T.J., Derek is no stranger to the antics of his younger brother. He laughed and told Kuntz he wasn't surprised that T.J. figured out exactly how to make listening to the podcast into a good-natured game.
