Limited run miniseries based on the best selling book. Was supposed to come out last summer, but since it's about a deadly global pandemic, they held it back.

So far it's spot on with the book and I'm loving it. They released the first 3 episodes on Thursday.

This was hauntingly fantastic. Haven’t binged like that in a long time.

I enjoyed it, certainly more than the book that I couldn't come close to finishing. I mean, a post-apocalyptic Shakespeare troupe is right up m alley. It certainly (to me) suffered the literary curse, but, as I said, it was much better than the book. I recall the book started, then flashed back, the flashed back in the flash back, and I flipped ahead to see it lasted for 75 more pages. Yeah, no lol

I am late to this party. For some reason I had it in my head that this was some “young adult CW soap” capitalizing on Covid. A podcast I listen to suggested it, so I gave it a try. This was truly wonderful.

The TV series was shot in Chicago. The guy pushed the shopping carts full of food from a REALLY LONG WAY in the beginning episode.

Also, I think of the plane that crashed next to the high rise every time I drive by that building.
