Ilia Topuria has a big June ahead of him.
Not only does “El Matador” defend his lightweight title in a championship unification bout against Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC White House on June 14, he also announced Wednesday that an HBO docuseries about his life and family called Los Topuria premieres that same month.

A trailer for the series was released this past June, and HBO has now made it official that three 50-minute episodes are set to drop one year later. According to a press release, the series chronicles Topuria’s rise to the top of the featherweight ladder and his brief reign before he relinquished the belt to successfully chase lightweight gold. It is expected to stream globally.
Fans will undoubtedly be curious as to how much of Topuria’s personal life will be featured, especially with the fighter having recently taken time off from competition to deal with personal issues, including what he claimed to be “false allegations of domestic abuse” from an unnamed party.
This isn’t the first time Topuria has given fans a behind-the-scenes look at his career. In 2024, Matador, a documentary about the two-division champion’s life, was released in theaters in Spain.
The undefeated Topuria was limited to just one fight in 2025, a knockout victory over Charles Oliveira at UFC 317 that earned Topuria a vacant lightweight title, but could be busier in 2026. First, he has to deal with Gaethje in headlining bout of the UFC’s historic White House event on June 14.
