Southern Miss baseball's NCAA Tournament game against Little Rock on May 29 at Pete Taylor Park has been moved up from 1 p.m. CT to noon due to rain in the forecast.
The No. 1 seed Golden Eagles (44-15) and the No. 4 seed Trojans (36-26) is the first game of the Hattiesburg Regional. Gates will open at 10 a.m.
The second game of the regional between Virginia (36-21) and Jacksonville State (46-13) will not be impacted by the weather and will maintain its scheduled start time of 6 p.m.
The schedule for May 30 will also stay the same. The two losers from May 29 will play against each other at 3 p.m. while the winners will square off at 8 p.m.
