Replaced by David Blough. Remember him? Kliff highly praised him apparently.

How can that be? I thought a few AFSN'ers here were commissioning K2s HOF statue because he was running the greatest offense in history of the universe in WAS?

And that his ARZ coaching tenure was torpedoed by the villainous, charlatan of a QB, Kyler Murray?

No? He's still the same guy that got fired from Texas Tech? Cliff Clownsberry?

Oh...

Oh...
Apparently the GM got mad at him for not using certain players, most likely their terrible 2nd round TE Ben Sinnott, and demanded he shift their offensive scheme (IE, run the Petzing stuff that everyone is running). Kliff said no.

All the Commanders fans are upset he's gone, and are saying that he was leaving for a headcoaching job anyways.

Kliff is going to get another NFL job, probably OC but he's being interviewed for headcoach by the Ravens and Titans. Meanwhile Murray's ADOT is below 6 yards.

Fair enough HairZach (and please tell us the origin of your name when you have second (if you don't mind)).

And, it would be more fun to clown on K2 if he and WAS hadn't run us off the field in that game in 2024.

Anyway, we'll see how he fares at his next gig. With him, it seems to be less of an issue with his technical ability vs. his intangibles. Some guys become better leaders as they get older (but not all).

He’s not even the OC or Assistant OC for the Rams.
Must be nice to hire friends for millions to not do anything.

Money goes fast when you live in LA brother.

That’s not really the point. Dude is basically unemployed and McVay did him a solid.
True! My grandparents owned a nice little house in Nowalk, CA that they paid very little for back in the day. A no-frills, small 3-bedroom, 1 bath house with a detached garage. When they died it went for a lot. A lot. At least 10x original worth, probably closer to 50x, and at least 10x more than what it would go for in Pittsburgh.

Haha I worked in Norwalk for a few years. Slightly ghetto area. But houses in Compton can go for $800k so...

wasn't he the guy that was one of the features on Hard Knocks? If so, seemed like a good dude and great teammate.
David Blough is a really great dude. As a Purdue fan for most of my life (my H.S. was 2 blocks away from Ross-Ade Stadium and Mackey Arena; my late father was a Purdue Professor Emeritus), I've followed him closely, and even though I knew he wasn't quite an NFL-caliber QB, you could tell he was going to succeed in some capacity.

folks got our little 2 bdrm place for 16k....my brother and his wife live in a cookie cutter copy five houses down.
Both houses today valued at about 300k.
less than desirable neighborhood... busy street...my brother basically has a stop sign 30 feet from his driveway....
funny thing is, next door neighbor bought his for just at 50k in 2008...the huge jump in value came after that.

Clifford Clownsbury the lll

Fired for poor performance by a middling, mid-tier, college football program (his Alma mater no less) but then immediately hired by the Fighting Arizona Football Cardinals of the NFL

Oh those shrewd Arizona Cardinals.

The brain trust on Hardy Dr. operating at very high levels to plan and execute this personnel strategy.

Wow! That must be a change. Or it must just be a different part of town. I used to hang out there on trips as a kid, and it was white picket fence land. Not in town, obviously.

Naw Norwalk is kind of a gangster town. Not like Compton or Paramount, but damn close.

As I haven't been there since...crickey, probably 1988! I'll bow to your judgment.
It's like 75% Latino now. Not that's a bad thing, but that does mean you have a generally poorer demographic and poorer generally means higher crime.

Let's put it this way, when I would go anywhere in Norwalk, I was the only white dude.
