The son of one of the best Minnesota Vikings ever has been invited to the team's rookie mini-camp this month.

Maine wide receiver Montigo Moss, the son of Randy Moss, has accepted an invite to the Vikings' mini-camp, according to FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz.

Montigo, who stands 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, caught 61 passes for 722 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024, leading the Black Bears' offense in all three categories. He earned Third-Team All-CAA honors for his work.

This comes 27 years after the Vikings drafted Montigo's father, Randy, in the first round of the 1998 draft. Moss exploded onto the scene with 69 receptions for 1,313 yards and 17 touchdowns in 1998, a rookie record. In six and a half seasons with the Vikings, Moss caught 587 passes for 9,316 yards and 92 touchdowns.

Moss was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018, his first year of eligibility. His 15,292 receiving yards rank fourth all-time, and his 157 receiving touchdowns rank second to Jerry Rice.
