Wilson is one of only four players to have 25 sacks and 25 interceptions in NFL history. No question he was a great safety. Would probably be in the HOF conversation if he played on better teams sadly.

his coverage was average at worst. He excelled in hitting, tackling, blitzing and more. I dont think anyone is claiming he was a top cover safety in the nfl but he was adequate at that and excelled in other areas. He also played SS so more of a box safety than a free roaming FS that will have more opportunity for interceptions.

This, never said he was great at coverage but was adapt at coverage while still at this juncture better at coverage than Budda
