On Wednesday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide defeated the Texas A&M Aggies in a thrilling, back-and-forth game inside Coleman Coliseum, 100-97.
Needing a bounce back win following a loss Sunday at Florida, the Crimson Tide and Aggies traded lead changes for a vast majority of this contest, with the showdown between two of college basketball's top offensive teams certainly living up to the hype.
In the win, Alabama shot a combined 16-of-48 (33%) from three-point range, and were led by 20 points, six boards, and four assists from Aden Holloway on 9-of-12 shooting at the free throw line. Alabama also had five others score in double figures, headlined by Labaron Philon Jr. with 17.
Texas A&M, who had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer, also received a game-high 21 points from star forward Rashaun Agee, while former Alabama transfer Rylan Griffen finished with 17 points and six rebounds.
