For the second-straight season, the Alabama Crimson Tide have defeated the Auburn Tigers inside of Neville Arena.
On Saturday afternoon, the Crimson Tide came to Auburn looking for a road win against their biggest rival, and after an action packed 40 minutes of action, eventually claimed a 96-92 victory when the clock struck zero.
A game where Alabama used a 59-51 second half advantage to pull away for the win, the Crimson Tide were led by 25 points from guard Labaron Philon Jr.. Each of Amari Allen, Aden Holloway, and Charles Bediako also had double figures, with Holloway in particular making some big shots late down the stretch.
The Crimson Tide shot an impressive 54% from the field in the win as well, along with 12-of-23 (52%) from three and 20-of-23 (87%) at the free throw line.
