During a recent conversation with FOX 4’s Rob Collins in Kansas City, England National Team captain Harry Kane shared his thoughts on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“(Patrick) Mahomes is great, one of the best ever already,” Kane said. “I’m confident he’ll be looking for another big season this year.”
Mahomes finished the 2025 season with 22 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions in 14 games before the knee injury. He also rushed for 422 yards and five touchdowns. The two-time league MVP continues to rehab after surgery to repair his ACL and LCL, with hopes of being ready to play Week 1 of the season.
During England’s victory over Croatia last week in World Cup action, Kane scored two goals. He became just the second English player to score at three different World Cups. Kane joined several members of his team as a guest during a recent Kansas City Royals game at Kauffman Stadium.
