The Philadelphia 76ers are in the process of getting themselves ready for the upcoming season. That means looking to nail down the roster and bringing in the right pieces for future depth moves and bringing in young talent.

On Tuesday, the Sixers announced that they have signed former first-round pick MarJon Beauchamp. The 3-year forward was selected No. 24 overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2022 draft and has career averages of 4.1 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.6 assists while shooting 35.4% from deep. He has also played for the Los Angeles Clippers and the New York Knicks.

Beauchamp is with the Sixers on an Exhibit 10 deal and he is likely ticketed for the G League once preseason is over. In a corresponding move, the Sixers have waived Emoni Bates.

One has to believe that Beauchamp will be given every opportunity to show what he can do for the Sixers. He has a lot of potential and skill and one has to figure that coach Nick Nurse would like to tap into it.
