Sights and sounds from Day 8 of training camp

The Washington Commanders kicked off Day 8 of training camp with more roster moves. First, there was another surprising retirement, as the Commanders placed defensive tackle DJ Davidson on the reserve/retired list. Washington also signed three veteran offensive linemen and waived undrafted rookie wide receiver Chris Hilton Jr. and offensive lineman Timothy McKay.

On the field, Washington was in pads for the third time this week, as it prepares for next week's joint practice with the Miami Dolphins and first preseason game, also against the Dolphins. Saturday was also the first day of seeing wide receiver Stefon Diggs in pads since officially signing with the Commanders on Friday morning.
