Commanders training camp: Sights and sounds from Day 5

The Washington Commanders hit the practice fields for Day 5 of training camp on Tuesday, and a new player was on the field. Washington signed veteran cornerback Fabian Moreau on Tuesday morning after cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon's surprising retirement. Witherspoon was with the team on the practice field on Monday.

As for what happened on the field, it was another good day for quarterback Jayden Daniels and the offense. Daniels looked sharp for the second consecutive day and continues to look more comfortable in David Blough's offense with each passing day.

Bill Croskey-Merritt had a long talk with RB coach Anthony Lynn after today’s practice. This is what he told reporters shortly after:
