The Washington Commanders were back on the practice fields on Thursday for Day 2 of training camp in Ashburn. Head coach Dan Quinn opened the day with some injury news: center Nick Allegretti is dealing with a calf strain, while wide receiver Treylon Burks has some foot soreness. Neither injury is considered serious, and both are day-to-day.
Veteran Julian Good-Jones will receive the bulk of the snaps with Allegretti out, while rookie Matt Gulbin should see increased time.
It was another impressive performance from the defense on Thursday, as Daronte Jones' unit continues to throw multiple looks at Jayden Daniels and Washington's offense.
