Now you’re just making stuff up. You don’t know that yet you are presenting it as a fact. SMH
aint a coach in the world that isnt going to let a fast racehorse run.
Secretariat is the greatest athlete to ever compete and even he didnt start out so great.

@Syracusecards has a point.

There's little point paying WR's when you don't have a QB. But it's more than that.

I expect MHJ to take off under MLF. The talent and drive is there, that combination rarely fails long term. In which case, in a years time Mikey is your 3rd receiving option behind MHJ and Trey.

Do you want to pay your 3rd option $25m a year? Because that's what they are going for. Watch what Alec Pierce gets in FA with a very similar career to date as Mike (Mike broke 1k in year 3, it took Pierce 4 years).

If MHJ takes off, and we should be expecting he will, in a years time you could lose Mike for nothing. Or, you could probably get a 2nd for him now.

I'm not favoring either, just laying it out.

If I'm Monti I'm already working on an extension I'm happy with, and if we can't find terms I'm trading him before the deadline.
If we indeed tank next year you got yourself a chance to draft a young QB on a rookie contract. You could then afford to pay 2 wide outs, your franchise left tackle, and then some.

We can do that right now buddy
Yeah...I don't understand why people feel there are any financial restrictions on the Cardinals. Basically they are only paying McBride and Sweat long term and neither are big contracts.
