Gannon said after the game "it's never about 1 play". Case closed, Demercado didn't lose us the game!

If we fired every player for making a mistake we wouldn’t be able to field a team.
Does it really matter? Even with that STUPID mistake we still should have easily won this game.

Almost worse that he just slowed down before the endzone than actually throwing it away
The combo was really terrible.

Who do these guys think they are that they don’t play hard to the end of games? They play for the joke of the NFL, and already have had issues closing out games and are still that cavalier finishing another?

Man, there’s a part of me he did that on purpose cause he wasn’t the starter lmao. Mans slowed down before dropping the ball

Pulled this antic on purpose because of his depth chart saltiness.... I'll die on this hill. Feel it in my plums. lol.

So, bye Felicia.

It's really not that crazy if he truly wants out. I mean, there are smarter ways to go about it than this.. lol..but, it's definitely not as nuts as it seems. Guy literally threw a damn hissy fit 5 yards from the goal line!

I mean, I don’t think you can cut him although it would be warranted… He is by far our best pass blocker, and from what I can tell the most explosive player in the backfield. He’s the only guy that has 3 50+ yard touchdowns in the last two years.

It’s not a “mistake.” He purposefully dropped it. He knew how close to the front of the endzone he was. He’s not blind. And his hand didn’t all of a sudden seize up. And he didn’t accidentally leave grease on his hand. He deliberately dropped it very close to the endzone. That’s purposeful carelessness to act cool. Let’s not make excuses for these guys. It’s not a mistake, it’s stupidity and carelessness.

No, not cut.
it sucks...the kid got excited and made a mistake... but he is a legit breakaway threat and those are harder to find in the nfl than most of you seem to think.

but I would bury him on the bench for a couple weeks.

y'all seem to forrget that demarcado is responsible for about 40$ of our big runs over the last two years...we bag on The Petzing for a weak conservative offense, but when it works as intended...but there is a mistake...suddenly we want to cut people, fire people...and these are the guys who are making it actually work.

go old school on the kid and make him carry a football with him everywhere he goes for the next couple weeks...and instruct his team mates to knock it out of his hands at every opportunity...and he owes 500 bucks to any player that successfully strips him of the ball.

if he finds the arrangement unacceptable,...THEN cut him...

that way he has the choice to either accept his discipline training or be unemployed.
because it is exactly a discipline issue.

when you run a ground first offense you have to have guys that can get you explosive plays...on the ground... JC has never been that...emari Demercado is exactly that...
so punish him, train him, coach him, discipline him, humiliate him, then put him back on the field so he can show you what he learned and break another 50 yard run for the team.

its a discipline issue. simple as that.
Hang on to the ball until the play is over. no whistle?? play aint over.

Gannon used to have this team playing to the whistle on every snap. they have lost that

Do I think he should be cut? Really close, but leaning probably not.

Would I love to see him cut to send some sort of example to the players? Absolutely.

Yes he should be cut immediately and his idiotic play should be a picture in the RB room going forward.

Jesus just hold other players to half the standard you all hold Murray to.

Kyler Murray, 28, was the first overall draft pick.

Emari Demercado, 26, was an undrafted free agent.

Yeah, Emari made a mistake, but I think he is young enough to learn. Besides, he might be the best running back the Cardinals have left.

I guess I'm not a big believer in scapegoats, especially when there is a ton of blame to go around.
