The book is a classic, hopefully they do it justice.

The 80's mini-series was an annual ritual in my house because my mother absolutely loved the thing and everything Richard Chamberlain. Personally, I am looking forward to this modern take.

okay guys. Unless you like shouting fudge fudge fuuuuckk!! at your TV
wait until this series is complete before you watch... it is excellent. very good binge...and I am so damn bummed I have to wait a damn week for the next episode.

gotta admit, at first I wasnt feeling this guy as Anjin san... but he blended into the role by the end of episode 1 and owned it by the end of episode 2

I wanted to start to watch this tonight but I was at an event and met Chris Martin of Martin Guitars.

Terrific. Glad I watched a documentary on this period in the last twig wars. Gives me a lot of context.

Lol. Weird autocorrect for “two years.” But yeah, you don’t recall the twig wars?!?
haha! I put it into Google, as you do before you post a WTF in case you're out of touch, and got twi'lek.

But now that you mention it, I remember those wars well. The forest will never be the same.

Watched the first episode last night and it was amazing. That was intense enough that I wanted to a break before e2 so I'll do it tonight. I don't think I could bring this series back to back at once.

One scene that was in the original was this old manhandling Blackthorn ass to make him take a bath. That wasn’t in this but it was a great scene in the original. A small thing though because this is great so far.
