In a game with playoff implications for both NFC teams, the Seattle Seahawks lost a special teams contributor early.
Wideout Cody White is doubtful to return with a groin injury. The injury occurred after White nearly blocked a punt early in the 1st quarter and had to limp off the field.
Seattle will now look to other players to step up both as fill-in WR’s (White has shown impressive run-blocking prowess at times) as well as kick coverage participants. Jake Bobo, who has been off-and-on in terms of being active on game days, is active this time, so the Seahawks are down to five healthy wide receivers.
The 6th-year player has worked his way up from UDFA signing to making an initial 53-man roster for the first time this year. He has carved out a regular role as a fourth wide receiver in addition to his spot on special teams over the past couple of months.
