Well, this is what we got and we have it another season.
If Kyler continues to stink like this down the stretch, they have to trade him. He’s not the guy if that happens AGAIN and we have to start moving forward.

And before anyone decries cap hit, etc etc… BS. The Broncos took a punishing hit to get rid of Wilson, drafted a QB in the first round and are likely going to playoffs after being painfully mediocre last year. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to do that unless our coaches and GM arent good enough and have basically boofed the first two years of the rebuild.

You can’t just call a designated KM run. Seattle will just string it out like last game. They actually contain. Instead Murray needs to take off when no one is open. That will help players get open.
Or, Murray can do what most other top-tier and even mid-level QB’s (like Geno) do, and stand in the pocket long enough to allow your guys to break open and then Locate and get them the ball!

Yeah Like I said earlier the play where he dumped it off for Conner for 8 yards he had Conner and Reiman in front of him to block and he was outside contain, if he runs he probably gets the first down. Conner was a yard short. We got the first down later anyways but I want to see Kyler take off there

Kyler bulked up and it ruined his career imo. I was more excited about college Kyler than this version with 30 extra lbs TBH.
Good observation. I agree totally, he needs to lose a little muscle. He doesn't really get hit much and even "bulky" when he does get hit or sometimes even touched he goes down quick. The bulk does nothing for him

Even when he does stay in the pocket he’s jumping around like a jumping bean then throws late.

100%. For these “great” drafts, what really do they have? Garrett Williams? Lol

I've been saying it for years. Sucks it's playing out that way. But it removed all his special components as a QB that got him drafted at 1 in the first place.

he didn't trust the pocket and panicked - two times in a row - most mobile qb on the planet and won't leave the front porch - i don't think the chickens are even worried about him running anymore - they're not assigning spies or practicing containment they're sending everyone because he isn't going anywhere where

prove me wrong kyler murray

He still falls down if there’s a breeze
Right. Because the mobility isn't there like it was without the extra bulk. He knows that breakaway speed isn't there like it was years ago. IMO.

I know you're half-joking but it's really super duper weird Chopper.

What a bitter disappointment was the 1st half.
I’m not joking. Kyler does not want to get hit.
It’s why he checks everything down in 3rd
And long. He is a complete finesse player. Front runner. Punch him in the mouth and he tucks
tail and
Runs.

Yeah… when Garrett Williams is your biggest impact maker from what… 22 picks over two years, maybe Monti’s not exactly the draft guru some here have made him out to be.

This freeze frame thing on kickoffs is strange, but it occupies my mind, so that isn't a bad thing watching the game.
