Schefter just corrected his initial Tweet - it's a two-year deal, not a one-year deal.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 57s Arizona gave John Abraham a two-year deal.

I wonder if the second year is an option or if this was to speard a bonus out.

Sweet. With all our 1 year deals, I don't mind locking in Abraham for a 2nd year. Wonder what the money is.

Oh and NFLN reported a bit back that Percy Harvin has a slight labrum tear in his hip.

Hope he's got some left in the tank because he could help us...sure is funny no contenders have inked him...especially Denver, given their issues now.

A new era in Arizona. Unbelievable! The Cardinals have addressed every need and have not had to break the bank to do it.

Definately an upswing Mitch! The question is does Abraham have anything left? Hope so instead of another Porter signing...but it makes me wonder given no contenders have touched him.

Wow. I've never seen the FO this aggressive. Big, big kudos. Don't know I these moves will work, but love seeing us try to get better everywhere.

+1

You start looking at the numbers, and there are not enough spots for all our DE's, and OLB'ers

Schofield is as good as gone.

I like the signing but Abraham is only a stop gap. The Cards still need to find a young stud pass rusher of the future.

So this is what it feels like to have a real GM.

Great signing. Abraham isn't the player he was 5 years ago, but he's still our best pass rusher by a wide margin.

Meh.

I'd rather they signed Winston to the two year and Abraham to the one year.

I just think Abraham is done.

That said, I am in full on "trust BASK" mode, so I'll defer to them.
