I think that is a fair writeup from Sando.

On a somewhat related topic, does anyone care about this QB Rating system that they are trying to push? According to that chart, Derek Anderson was better through 4 games than Kolb. Now I know we were 2-2 last year through four games but those two losses were by a combined 66 points.

Whis should start to agree with those that know that the screen never should have been called in the first place.

Nobody cares about it. Just ESPN trying to make itself look more important.

The QBR is hilarious and that chart right there shows it without a doubt. So Kolb is better by far in every single category except team record 1-3 to 2-2 and they have the nerve to say the the QB play last year was better, because their BS rating says so?

That rating system is idiotic as it takes the win/loss record into account. If you look at the numbers there, Kolb is higher across the board. But the W/L drops him.

As we all know, the QB play is only one component of the W/L record. Their stat is freaking stupid on its face.

I hate QBR and I think eventually ESPN will realize they picked a dumb "stat" to start parading around.

It made a lot more sense when someone quoted an article explaining that Philly asks them to roll out a lot more in their offense.

To scramble more instead of standing in the pocket, and it will take time until he learns our way of doing things.

You won't know much until next year IMO.

"I don't know the degree of what he did in Philly, but I know it's different.
This is troubling to me. He should know either by game tape or by simply asking him wheat he did in Philly. And he should have known it before we traded for him.

I think Kolb is going to be okay, but this is a stupid thing to say--true or not.

You get brief glimpses into the Cardinal hive mind from time to time, it's a strange place in there.

It kind of makes sense though, long term you wouldn't care, however in the lockout shortened year it would stand to reason that you would have less time to fix this.

I don't know that it would of stopped me from getting the guy, it is puzzling they haven't worked on it more though, maybe they have in which case it's not working yet.
