They'll be signing Johnny Football to be his backup in 3...2...

Great move by the Broncos. They got an experienced vet for a turkey sandwich. Similar move to when the Cards signed Drew Stanton before trading for Carson Palmer.

Sanchise!

Love that nickname.

In reality, I think the Broncos made a really good move here. Sanchez is in no way, shape or form a great QB, or even a good one. But, he is a fit for Kubiak's system.

Dare I say, poor man's Jake Plummer ?

In all honesty, do you think any team will risk taking a chance on Manziel?

Going from Peyton Manning to Mark Sanchez is like going from eating at Ruth Chris Steak House to dumpster diving behind the homeless shelter.

Maybe Manning three years ago, but Half-Dead Peyton was a bad QB all year and has now been a bad QB for like 18 consecutive months.

I finished reading Collision Low Crossers a few weeks ago, where Nick Dawidoff spent the entire 2011 season with the New York Jets. In that book, Sanchez comes off as a guy with all the charisma you would want and the desire to succeed, but who also would make a ton of unforced errors. I don't know if Brian Schottenheimer was the right OC for him, although I have a hard time believing that he couldn't be as good as Matt Schaub.

Sanchez won't even turn 30 until mid-season.
