Strengths: Solid pivot player. Reliable on short and shotgun snaps, has long arms for the center position and maintains distance from opponents. Quick feet to slide laterally in pass protection. Capable of driving back bigger defensive tackles, getting under their pads and churning legs. Fires from his stance to reach linebackers quickly. Moves out ahead of screens and gets into position for the correct blocking angle. Keeps his head on a swivel. Team captain who is well-liked by players and coaches. Intelligent player who is adept making line calls.

Weaknesses: Average flexibility, needs to keep his feet moving to sustain against NFL-caliber defensive linemen. Too often stops moving after initial contact. Needs work on his reach blocks and must work on keeping his head up and sustaining while driving off the ball; allows defenders to slide off of blocks. Needs to come off of down block more quickly to combo to linebacker. Inconsistent hitting the "Mike" linebacker and targets in space when blocking in front of screens.

A versatile offensive lineman who has seen time at both center and guard during his college career. Isn't real powerful off the snap and struggles generating much power from his lower half. Doesn't look like a real natural bender in the run game and will double over at his waist instead of surging into blocks from the knees.

However, he does showcase some natural body control when asked to get out to the second level and breaks down well on contact. Looks comfortable sliding his feet laterally in pass protection and displays some natural change of direction skills when left on an island inside. Now, he isn't real heavy handed and can get jarred/knocked backward vs. the bull rush, but has the athleticism in the pass game to at least intrigue.

Impression: Has some versatility, but I worry about his natural power and lack of length in both the run in pass game. However, because of his ability to cleanly change directions vs. the pass, he could give himself a chance at the next level, but needs to add strength to his upper body.

Another fun gem who may not be on all radar and a prospect I'm excited about.

I kinda had my eye on this guy, but he keeps moving up the board. He can play more than just Center, very quick and strong for the 300 lbs.
