Stud. Leader of a SB team. Accurate. Runs and safe.

Remember all of us saying he was too short? And then going on and on because we beat him his rookie year? Haha. How good is this guy? Seriously.

IMO he's the most consistent great QB in the NFL. Doesn't care about #'s, just wins.

Yeah, hate me, whatever. He's badass.

Is there a better QB in the NFL? Who and why? I don't see it.

I agree. not a killer stat guy (although, his TD:Turnover ratio is outrageous and he's a high percentage passer) and he just makes big plays. That third down play tonight was a huge one when he was running for his life and found Marshawn for the game clincher.

thankfully, Kaep doesn't look like he's going to be the same problem for us in the future and once Harbaugh's out of there, I expect that Niner team to fall back to the pack.

Agree. I just think Wilson is a once in a generation, special type player. We're going to have to deal with him for a long time. I think, even as much props as he gets, that he doesn't get enough. He wills wins. He basically won the game against Denver--that whole OT drive was him, all him. And as you reiterated tonight his scramble and pass, after killing them, just KILLING, them running, his pass to Lynch on that scramble wins the game.

He's a really exceptional player. Really good.

I hate watching the little SOB...

It's like watching a shorty Big Ben... You're hoping and praying for that blind-side rusher to just destroys him... then, a little scoot here and there... and he extends the play another 5 seconds.

He's no doubt a baller but I want to see how he does without the #1 defense and #1 RB in the NFL first before labeling him among top 5 QBs.

He's an incredible player and his leadership/intangibles are off the charts. He made the Washington defense look like they wanted to quit football at the end of that game.

Fully agree. That 3rd down pass to ice the game had me thinking. I think it was last year, here in Arizona he had a similar play. He rolled backwards out of the pocket in the same manner, and threw a 40+ yard touchdown on the run against us. At that time I posed on my facebook he was a beast in the making.

Kid is a stud. And exactly the personality you'd want running your team

He's a very good QB, but let's not kid ourselves. If John Schneider were offered Peyton, Brees, or Rodgers straight up for Wilson, he'd take those deals in a heartbeat.

Fair enough. So put him on our team. We don't have the #1 defense or #1 RB. Is he still badass?

Doubtful, you're talking about old guys, minus Rodgers, who is still old comparitively. All things being equal, Wilson is awesome and young and has just as many SB's as all of them already.

I said he was a franchise caliber QB :)

I'll take Luck, Rodgers, and some other guys over him. He's a perfect QB for the system he is in. I doubt he'd thrive in GB's or Indy's system(or even Arians) where much more is predicated on the QB throwing the ball downfield and carrying the team.

I dont understand the "he's a system QB" argument. Montana was the ultimate system QB and nobody holds that against him.

Last year I said he was the 4th/5th best player on the team. This year I think he's clearly their best player and their D is significantly worse.

There is no way in hell he would trade Russell Wilson for Peyton or Brees.

Nobody is holding it against him, it's just true. He's not a guy you can set back there and have him chuck it 35-40 times a game like Luck or Rodgers.

Montana was a system QB. There's nothing wrong with that. He wouldn't have fared well in a down field pass game like Oakland had back in the day either.

To me, the difference is you could put guys like Luck, Favre, Marino, etc. in about any system and they would thrive. I don't think the same could be said for guys like Wilson.

the whole run to the line of scrimmage, then run backwards and still complete the pass crap is amazing and I hate him for doing it.

If I had to start a franchise, I am taking Luck, Russell Wilson, and then Aaron Rodgers.

It isn't the system or Lynch or their defense...it is Wilson. He is really good. He is mobile. He can make every throw. He doesn't turn the ball over. 2nd best Qb under 30 in the NFL behind Luck.

It appeared he got hit a couple of times last night as hard as any QB in the league. Yet he got up every time relatively unhurt. Just luck for not getting injured, I guess.

Hell no he's not. I see this the other day to I think bleacher report had him 1 and Luck 2.

He's in a great situation almost never asked to actually win the game just the opposite of Luck who pretty much has the hole damn organization on his shoulders.

When people talk about Seattle what do they say? Defense first then can you stop the running game NOBODY ever talks about having to stop Wilson.

Listen I like him he's very solid but he's not even close to being the best in the league

The way Seattle is constructed, it's hard to give Wilson the majority of the credit for their wins; whereas, with Brees, Peyton, and A-Rodg, they were the catalyst for that team. That team is predicated on strong defense and ball control.

Put any of my three on the Jaguars and they're an instant contender. Put Wilson on there an they're a fringe team.
