Roots Remake

Did anybody watch the Roots remake? As it was on last week Memorial Day week, as it was on A&E, Lifetime, History, etc. As did not but have mixed emotions about it. As the original is the originals. Do not touch the remake! Sure it was good but the original is untouchable.

the original did not stand up to the test of time real well...have not seen the remake yet but I have it on the dvr
