Just played this for the first time tonight ... in public ... at a bar. :) It was a blast and I didn't suck all that much. :)

Have already started the Rock Band fund.

Jealous? :p jk

We so rock plastic instruments. :doofus:

Lots of great DLC lately as well!

Don't Stop Believing is great, although the difficulty of the guitar on Expert is just crazy. The gap between expert and hard is wide.

The kids love the Spongebob as well.

I have noticed in general that seems to be true with newer songs. It used to be that the difference in difficulty was small. The newer songs are brutal with higher difficulty.

Yeah, it sucks. It is almost like they don't spend as much time thinking about the difficulty. DSB'in is great on the drums on expert. A lot of fun.

Okay. Hooray me! After saving my pennies (and getting some gift cards through mystery shopping) for a while, I now have Rock Band! :)

Thank God I have two weeks off from work, lol! I am jamming Bon Jovi on the drums. This is tons of fun!

I really want to know if the new Rock Band Beatles game will have dual mapped drums again. I really hope not because they said they built this game from the ground up. Also, It's rumored to have multiple mics allowed but unclear if you can have any combination of instruments like the new Guitar Hero.

If it is not importable into the existing RB, I won't get it. I hate the fact that I will need to get the Beatles Rock Band and it isn't importable.

Per their press release:

All currently available Rock Band peripherals will be compatible with their respective console version of The Beatles: Rock Band

I'm not talking about the equipment, I know that will be. I'm talking about moving the songs from one game to the other.

I would be all for the franchise starting over so they can stop doing stupid things like dual mapping the drum kit (pad & Cymbals having the same color assigned).

Looking forward to the vocal harmonies, keyboard, influx of new songs. We need Def Leppard damn it.
Oh man, this makes me think that a video of people playing this and trying to master the vocal harmonies would be the equivalent of the video of George Michael Bluth with the lightsaber.
