If the Cleveland Browns are finally going to start to really compete soon in the AFC North and the AFC as a whole consistently, the 2025 and 2026 NFL drafts will have to lead the way. While the quarterback conversation continues to take a lot of the energy and discussion time around the Browns, last year’s draft class saw impact players and contributors helping the roster in Year 1:
- DT Mason Graham
- LB Carson Schwesinger – Defensive Rookie of the Year
- RB Quinshon Judkins
- TE Harold Fannin Jr.
- RB Dylan Sampson
- QBs Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel
The 10-person draft class this year is already getting strong praise and grades:
- OT Spencer Fano
- WR KC Concepcion
- WR Denzel Boston
- S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
- OT Austin Barber
- OL Parker Brailsford
- LB Justin Jefferson
- TE Joe Royer
- QB Taylen Green
- TE Carsen Ryan
GM Andrew Berry’s draft classes have not only caught the attention of the media and fans, but also rival teams, including the Baltimore Ravens’ GM Eric DeCosta:
Ravens GM Eric DeCosta had high praise for the Browns and GM Andrew Berry after the 2026 NFL draft.
“Andrew Berry, give him a lot of credit … with Todd Monken there, calling plays and as the head coach, I think that’s a team that eventually will be a team to be reckoned with.”… pic.twitter.com/UaAEI79BBl

It is notable how quickly DeCosta brought up the Browns drafts and that they were the first team out of his mouth. His history with new Cleveland HC Todd Monken also gives him inside knowledge of what the Ravens might be facing when the Browns are “eventually… a team to be reckoned with.”
What do you think about the Ravens GM’s thoughts on the Browns latest drafts?
