DeCosta Praises Browns’ Draft, Eyes AFC North Competition
The AFC North isn’t getting any easier, and the Ravens know it.
During his appearance on the C4 and Bryan Nehman Show, Eric DeCosta gave credit where it’s due.
"Um, I think the Browns, I think they had a really nice draft. I think they had a really nice draft last year. They do a good job. Andrew Berry. Give him a lot of credit. I think he's a good evaluator. He's pretty smart. His picks make sense. There's, I think, a thorough process involved. They did a nice job last year with their pick. Um, I think in the last year, in my opinion, Schlesinger was one of the best players in the draft. They got him in the second round, defensive rookie of the year. I think they do a hell of a job, and I thought they had a good draft this year. So, you know, with Todd Monken in there, you know, calling plays and, as the head coach, I think that's a team that eventually will be a team to be reckoned with."
No bulletin board material, just respect. But make no mistake, Baltimore knows exactly what’s coming in the division.
