She gave up custody in 2018. Not that any pain goes away but it was a while ago. She did just release her memoirs where she talked about how tough it was to grow up as a child star and her struggles with abuse and addiction.

Definitely seems like a suicide though. Poor girl.

So sad to hear. Such an untimely death. The first time I recall seeing her was in a movie called Ice Princess with Michelle Tractenberg who also died way too soon.

Ah man. So sad. She was such a great character in Remember the Titans.

Very sad. Hollywood, young kids/adults and drugs are a bad mix. I saw her interview online with Jay Shetty. She sounded like she was on the right path. She even mentioned her ex-boyfriend was out of the picture. Guess he wasn't since she flew with him to South Carolina and was found dead at his brother's house.

It kind of reminds me of Matthew Perry. He wrote a book and did interviews saying he was cleaned. Prescription drugs are very dangerous. That is why I will never take them. I would rather take aspirin and suffer a little bit then take the chance to suffer my entire life at the possibility of being addicted to prescription drugs.
