The New York Giants are hiring Dennard Wilson as defensive coordinator under new head coach John Harbaugh, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Wilson, 43, served as the Tennessee Titans' defensive coordinator for the past two seasons (2024-2025).

In his first year calling plays, he guided the Titans to a No. 2 ranking in total defense (311.2 yards per game) and passing defense (177.3), marking their best yardage performance since 2000. Despite struggling with points allowed, Wilson's unit showed strong schematic discipline and limited opponent efficiency.

Before Tennessee, Wilson spent 2023 as the Baltimore Ravens' defensive backs coach under Harbaugh, contributing to Kyle Hamilton's All-Pro season. He previously coached defensive backs for the Philadelphia Eagles (2021-2022), where he also served as pass game coordinator, and held roles with the Jets and Rams.

A Harbaugh disciple with extensive secondary expertise, Wilson reunites with his former boss to rebuild a Giants defense that ranked near the bottom in key categories last season.
