Recent Duke commit and younger brother of Kon Knueppel, Kager has skyrocketed up national ranking boards after committing to Duke. Listed at 6'10", Kager offers much more length than his older brother while still showcasing exceptional touch from beyond the arc. According to Rivals, Knueppel is now ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the class of 2027, 38 spots higher than his previous ranking (No. 52).
This puts him above NaVorro Bowman Jr., a recent inclusion on Team USA's U17 FIBA World Cup team and son of former NFL linebacker NaVorro Bowman. Knueppel is ranked behind two other prospects Duke has sent offers to, Beckham Black and Lewis Uvwo.
While the status of Black and Uvwo is yet to be determined, Duke fans will be eager to watch a second member of the Knueppel family during the 2027-28 season.
